Dozo Moreno

Artistic Trajectory and International Recognition.

Constanza Dozo Moreno was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1968. She began her studies in 1988, specializing in marble carving under the guidance of Ramón Castejón, drawing with Aurelio Macchi, and lost wax technique with Antonio Pujía. In 1995, she furthered her knowledge in France, where she trained in artistic anatomy and modeling with Martine Vaugel, and the following year, in 1996, she traveled to Greece, specifically to the island of Tinos, to perfect her skills in marble carving with Petros Delatollas.

Since 2002, Constanza has also devoted herself to teaching, conducting workshops on creativity, marble carving, lost wax technique, and clay modeling at her own art space called Nave Tierra-Arte & Conciencia. In addition to her teaching work, she continues to develop her sculptural art, experimenting with various materials and participating in numerous exhibitions.

Her artworks have been featured in important cultural media and are part of private collections in Argentina, Uruguay, the United States, and Europe.

In 1998, she obtained her degree in sculpture from the renowned School of Fine Arts «Ernesto de la Cárcova.» From the beginning of her career, she has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in prominent art spaces, galleries, art fairs, and museums, both in Argentina and abroad. Some of the institutions that have showcased her work include the San Isidro Cultural Center, the San Martín Cultural Center, the Embassy of Germany, the Embassy of Italy, the Tortugas Country Club, the Estímulo Association of Fine Arts, the Mozarteum of Pilar, the Arteclásica and Expoarte fairs, the Gallery Nights in Argentina and Uruguay, the Principium Gallery, the Javier Baliña Gallery, the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange, the La Plata Cathedral Museum, the «Mayte Spinola» Contemporary Art Museum in Spain, the El Romeral House Museum in Madrid, among others.

In February 2020, she received the «Mayte Spinola» Gold Medal in Madrid, Spain, for her career as a sculptor. In January 2024, she will inaugurate her Art Gallery, «Alchemy of the Earth,» in Pueblo Edén, Uruguay.
